It was'voted that starting next week our regular meetings would
be held.at ~. OOPM until further notice.,~.and that next
week we would meet on Thurs. rather than Wed.'
An application'was received-for;the transfer of the all'alcohlic-
beverage license presently held by C.~ George Anastos and
~Lilika Anastos dba Nantucket Spa'and Spa Cafe,to
,Nantucket~Hist0~ic Trust at,the same~address,~and voted
to take the 'course prescribed by'law.'~ .. ~'
The application of ,the Navy Wives-club for a"permit to hold a ,~
block dance on lower india St. on July 3rd was approved.
The request for Labor Day .WaS tabled they to make a new
application later in the season. ~ .......

The Board discussed-the mar'tot of the light on Vestal~St;- with
reference to its intereference with the observatory and
voted.to approve the removal of the bul'~ on Pole No. 3
for,the summer the Asso. to agree'to'keep their porch
light on at this corner.
Taxi permits were granted to Carlton West, Howard W. Hgtt'and

SiaSconSet Book Store Inc. was granted a renewal,'0f'its Common.";
Vict. Ice cream and Soft drink licenses. ' ':,'
Mr. John simpson'dba The Chicken Nest was granted renewals of his
Common-Vict. milk and soft drink licenses.',~'z'
Gordon Folger d~a Gordon Folger.Hotel was granted a renewal of
his Innholders Lic.
A request from the VFW to have the Bell tolled0n'Memorial Day
10.30 AM was.voted approved. : ~' ~ :: ':,'~ :~
Sunday Ento permit for Upper Deck for Piano and r~corded music
was voted approved.
The 'VFW was gr~nted a permit'for a poppy day on June 30th.
There being no further business the Board went into executive
session and adj. at 9 PM.

Woted to write Senator Stone with reference to'the Madaket
work.
Voted write Ben Baxter to remove old sunken barge from Harbor
voted to have Harbor Master remove old sunken buoys from
Madaket Harbor.
