Barrett.and.checked and approved by the Board,!'- ....
Minutes of the 'previous ~eting were read and approved., '
New bids ~m~ received off th~' Collection'of rubbish and garbage
from tQwn.and county:bldgs last week were.discussed, the-''
report'of the sanitation insp. as to the equipment~of the
varrious.parties.being on-hand.'.Ch' Killen advised that he
had talked'with Mr.~ Nathan Thurston who had advised him
.his letter,of last week was not ~o be construed as a bid
on.the amended specifications~ the Board consequently
on.the two bids.submitted namely Myles Reis 413,50 and
.Albert.C.'Johnsen Jr,':425.$0; on motion made'and seconded
it,was'Voted that Mr.'Reis be awarded this contract.;'i.:
Mr. Tell Berna wa~ present!and,thanked the Board.for.it~'supp0rt
of.the Authority at the Steamship Auth. bills hearing at.
Miss ie Empson was granted a renewal of her Innholders Lic.
Mrs David Sharp writ& commenting on &osquitoes and letter was
,noted'and placed on file, letters were'also.,received from
Mrs Phil Nash commenting,on conservation of wetlands and
from Robert Gilbreth relative~totennis courts' ~,: "
