The meeting came ,to order at 7.30 P~i all' members of the Board

Warrant No. 50 totalling $54,122.27 was presented by Town-Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by.the Board..
Minutes of the pre~ious'meeting were read and-approved.
Shellfish warden Francis reported that he had been appointed as
Temporary Insp. as regards the'inspections of:scallop ....
shantys for opening permits and that any one wanting an ~
inspection of information should get in touch with him.
Cheil Howes and Sgt. Chadwick of ~he-locai police 'dept. were
present and advised the Board that they had worked out
a system of cooperation between the local~ dept.~ and
the State Police as suggesed by.the Board and that same
· was presently in force, suggested that it-~ight.be.a
good idea to consider the matter of a radio that would
cover the State Police feequency to allow better co,crag,
Chief Howes suggested that signs'be'e~ected~at the Post Office
and Fedeaal St. area stating that no left hand parking
'allowed and same was so voted. It was.also voted to
have a yellow line painted at the curb near the entrance
to'the A~& P on Old N. Wharf St. to prevent parking righ~
at the corner.
A letter was received frOm ToWn Counsel Sanguinetti enclosing
a proposed By-Law relative to dress and filed for in-
section in the warrant.
The following license renewals were voted approved:
Nanthan Thurston, Garbage removal;, Common Vict. ice cream.
soft dringk lic.
Mrs Tutein , the Woodbox, Innholders
^ letter was received from one Edith Kern:commenting on the matte~
of buildings to be erected at the various town beaches
by the Park and Rec. Commission and voted referred to
said Commission.
A Supplemental approval for, an undergroud cable on front st. in Sconset was approved for the N. B. Tel & Tel.
Mr. Gay Halsey,was-appointed as Ch. o~ the Mosquito Control
Commission.
Voted to write the',firechief with reference to'the installation
of a tapper at the state pplice barracks.
There being no further business 'the Board Went into executive
session and adj.' at 8.45 PM. ·
