Water streets, same to be in by next Wed. There being no further business the board went into executive session and adj at 10.3o Pbl. 'l james K..~Glidden, ,S, ecy., ..'.- Sele~tmens Meeting 29 March' 1961 The meeting came to order at 7.30 PM all members of the Board being present. ,. .. Warrant No. i3, totalling $31,717.99 was presented by Town Acct. Barrett and checked'and.approved by the Board. Minutes of the pre~ious meeting were read and approved. '. Mt. Clinton Andrews, Pres of the Fishermens Asso. was present with a group of local fishermen and requested the Board to consider requesting the director to extend the local Comm. Scallop season for aprox. 2 weeks. Shellfish Warden Francis Stated that he felt the fishermen were having a hard time completing their'limits. Later in the meeting after discussion it was voted to the Dir..to extend the season till 15 April 61. Shellfish Warden Francis advised the' Board that he would like to complete the work started last year of cleaning out the ditch under the 1st bridge at Long Pondand that he proposed to do same with the Glowacki crane, and that state funds were available. Same was voted approved. A letter with various enclosures relative to Broad Creek was received from ReP. Mooney and placed on file. Voted to meet to draw Jurors for the Superiour Court on Priday at 9AM A letter was received from Mr. Reid Whitney asking if he'could be granted the use of the former Yankee Mooring. Voted to advise that we Could not give a permanent guest mooring to any one person but that we would have a total of 13 moorings availabe during the summer season, which he could use in : common with others; Mr..Harold Lindly was granted renewals of his Innholders lic. at the Four Chimneys and Ships Inn. A form' notice was'received from the Dept. of Corporations and taxation relative to the pet. for incorporat~9~+under Ch.. 180 of Harriet Backus and nine others dba Mu§g~I arts Sco.' Inc. and voted approved. Richard M. Colgate wrote granting approval t° open Sesachacha Pond to the ocean over his property as in years past. Robert Lloyd dba Sea Cliff Inn was granted a susnday ent. for recorded music. The following applications for alcoholic beverage license ren- ewals were received and voted to take the course prescribed by.law: Harbor House, Sea Cliff Inn. Knotty Pines, Siasconset Book Store, Sankaty Beach Club, The Inn, Siasconset, the Rope walk and Wauwinet House. Mr. Lydle L. Rickard was granted a lodging house license. Bids were received on bulldozing at the Town and Sconset dumps as follows: Nant. Const. Co. Town Dump 8.00 per houE. Kenneth Coffin,.Siasconset Dump 6.50 per hour. Voted to aWard same to the respective bidders. Voted to adv. the hearing on water rates to be held on Tues 4 April 1961. Voted to write the Water Co. and .Ma.xtra Mfr. Co. as regards an answer to our previous inquxnes.
