The meeting'¢ame to,order at 7.30 PM all members of the Board

Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of,'th~' Previous meeting were read 'and,approved.
Mr. 'Arthur Gibbs Of the Planning Boa'r'~ was present and in 'behal~
of said Board presented a plan and a request that the Board
insert various.articles,in the annual warrant relative to
the taking of the 'land in ~he creeks area so called as shown
on the plan presented. It was voted that same be referred
to the Town Counsel to draft the appropriate articles.
Mr. Nestor Richards, Secy. of the rishermens Asso. inquired as
to the whereabouts of ~he film presented to th'e Town by the
Asso. and was referred to the Publicity Committee.
Mr. Clinton Andrews, Pres. of the rishermens AsSo. spoke on the
matter-of the Commercial Scallop limit advising that the
asso. was in favor of increasing same to 5 and 10 bags
effective 16 Jan. 1961. On motion duly made and seconded ,
it was so voted.
Mr. Elwyn Francis Shellfish Warden presented a letter from Mr.
Chs. Wllbour of the Div. of Marine Fisheries in which Mr.
Wllbour also stated that he felt.the l~mit should be fncreas~
at this time due ~o the large-amount of adult scallops in ou~
area. ..
Mr.~ Francis also reported that on T~esday the 10th of Jan.
1961 he~.had inspected the Boat Barbara, Lester Ayers Jr.
and Mr...Rdward J. Barrett, at Island Service Wharf ~d
found that ~he bags were not tied as provided in the regulat-
ions and ~hat the bags were "crowned" with scallops. That
he asked Mr. Ayers if his bags had draw strings and Ayers
said" Ira. not going to tie my bags as long as fellows take
their wives out" Mr. ~rancis reported that,he had checked
this Boat this date and that their,bags were tied.
The Board took no action on this matter a~ this time.
On motion made and seconded it was voted, to appoint Mr. W. Ripley
Nelson t0 ~he Park and Recreation committee toreplace Mr.
Tell' Berna who had resigned.
Mr. Allen Hoidgate was granted a' renewal ofh~s Common' Vict. licen~
at the Airport Snack bar.
A sample of ~the various colors of cover Stock for the Town repor~
was before the Board and the Board selected a pink shade
for this. years report.
The political, calander as submitted by,~.the Town Clerk was approve~
by the~Board

were received as follows. IS~ -~.1725 per gal; and Sherburne
Oil Co. ,.178 per gal. It was voted .that the contract be
awarded the lowest bidder the Island Set. Co.
A letter was received from Mr. Dine of the Div. of AccOunts
relative to the approval of the act of the emergency finance
Board authorizing the Airport Comm.' to borrow money pending
receipt of state and Federal~funds for the tower cons.t ~tc.
