Minutes of t~? pr~vi?~s~meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Ben Perkins representing' the M~daket' C6ns. Ass0. ~as'present
and asked that,we expend any money which the town had
appropriated for the building of the dunes in the madaket
area at this time, due to the states advice that~they
would not be.able to do anything at the~ Broad Creek area
Voted to'determine Prom the~Spt, of Streets.what amount
of snow fence we could purchase and erect for the.amount
of money as set out in Art.' 102, and,that we expend this
article for this purpose, at this time.
On recommendation Of Chief Howes, Mr. Clair ~. Bu~tler 'was appointed
a Sp. police officer to serve at the high school 5askeiba:l
games. ~' .'
Mr. Nathan Thurston~was garnted a renewal of his permit to colaec- and transport garbage for the year'1961.
The Woodbox Inc. was granted a nenewal of its Innholders License.
The matter o'f having .the white lines at intersection about the
central part of'the town repainted as soon as practical~''
. after they are erased by sealcoating was voted and referr, d
to the attention of the Highway Dept.~
Also voted to determine the cost of repainting white line:
on out of.town roads after sealcoating and place an artic e

of the DPW Waterways Div. that the Dept. of Cons..Na~ural
~ ~ Resources Division might be interested in the Smith Point

of the citizens in removing their cars from the street
during snow storms or if they have no place to at least
drive them up on the sidewalk so as to allow the plows to
get by. ..
A request.of the highway dept. for a tr'ansfer of ~300.00 to Snow~
and sand,~was referred to the Pinance Committee.
There being ho further business the Board. Went inio executive
session to discuss welfare matters and adj. at 9.45 PM.
