Barrelt and :checked.and approved.by the.Board,
Mr. Jaeckle Supt. of.Streets Was present and'went over
the Board specifications:for the general road contract ..
and the~coniracls for Hooper Farm Road and Capaum Road,
it was voted to advertise for same ~o be in by next meeting
Mr'. Jaeckle was requested to compile specifications for
the~side~alk on Willies Lane, and' also specs, on work on
the relocation of Old South Road.
Mr. Russell Pope, of:the Tree'Commission was present"and showed
the Board samples of some 'sections of tress that were being
removed, stated thai much of the wood was,dead and that'in
his .opinion the Finance Committee should have given, enough
money to take down all of the .irees listed rather than only
halC of. them as they are definately a hazard.
A letter was received from the Recreation Commission .enclosing
the bids on the day camp bldg at the. Jetties Beach.and ,
requesting that until they are officialy elected as Park-
Commissioners-they deisred ~o serve in an advisory capacity
On examinalion of the bids it appeared lhai Ohs. and Eileen
'Cahoon had bid $505.00 per annum for.a three yaar lease
and that.a Hazel Pierce had bid $400.00 it was voted that
the lease.be awarded tO Mr.~and Mrs.C~ho0n.-
Mr. Richard'M. Everett wrote 'advising that he h~d made arrangeme: ts
to have the.coitages on Old N.~Wharf connected ~o an a d
type septic tank system,,, and it was voted to w~iie and than~

A letter Was received f~om Mr. Norman'Gifffin, Agent Steamship

A letter was received fro~ the Legion Post'-advising.fh~t_ Mr.
Seddon legg sr. had been nominated as Vet, G~aves officer
and he was so appointed to this .Position by the Board.'
