The~meeting'came to order at 7.30 PM, all members of the Board
being pr, esent. ~ ' .,
W~rrant No. 13, totalling $30,138.19 was presented bi Town Acct.
Berrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous, meeting were read and apDr°ved.

The Board went over the rggulations for'~he laking~of'shellfihs'
for Family Use and the Tanking of~ shellfish other than
scall6ps for commercial use for~the 1960-61 season and,
same were voted approved an~ printed and certified copies
atl ached hereto and made a parl of this record.
Voted to advertise for plumDing WOrk at Our Island Home.

SHELLFISH REGULATIONS
Family Use
For ~lae Town of Nantucket, adopted by ~lae Selectmen under
au~aorlty delegated by' ~lae Annual Town Meeting
Section 1. No person shall, take from September 1 to April S0,
from the waters of Nantucket
clams, quahogs, oysters, eels, or
~ scallops, without a permit issued'
, by the Selectmen as public welfare
may require. Whoever shall take
from the ~waters of Nantucket,
clams, quahogs, oysters, eels,~ or
scallops without a permit' issued
by the Selectmen or after. ~aid
permit has been revoked by the
· Selectmen or whoever for the put-
pose of procuring a' license or
~ermit falsely makes~'any repre-
sentatton or statement - required
shall be punished by. a fine .of
fifty dollars ($50.00) fo~ each Of-

Section 5. Sc~llops may be taken
from October J to March 31,

per person per week.
Section 6. Oysters may .be taken
inclusive. Not over % 'bushel of
