Mr. Elw'm Prancis,'Shellfish W~rd~n was Pre~ent and~"~' "~conferred"'
with the Board on the matter of closing the Horseshead area
'to the taking of Scallops by any menas,~stated that~th~
percentage of seed to adult scallops was extremely~large.
and that by'leaving ,the area open'we would be hurting next
years crop. On motion made and seconded it was Voted~to
close the Horseshed area until the 26th of March 1960 .....
