Dear Sir
Your communication of November 25, which apparently
has been delayed in transit,relative to the contaminated area
of Nantucket Harbor has been referred to me, and in reply I
am arranging to have ~r Doggett of this office make an exam-
ination as soon as possible This may not be until the week
of December 28, but it is impracticable for us to make any
changes in the area until our January meeting which takes place
on January 12
Of course it is possible that some of the buoys used
in our lines some years ago have been changed, and this will
be looked into at the time of our examination
I trust that it will be possible for you or someone
to provide the necessary boat and equipment for taking shell-
fish samples if it appears necessary We shall notify you as
soon as definite arrangements for an examination are made
