?he Department of l~blic Health received from you
on June 12, 1931, an application for the approval of certain
plumbing ~les and regulations for the gown of l~l~-~tuckeg as
prepared by the State Examine2, s of Plu.~bors, and. in accordance
with your request the l~partment has ex~mtned those
regulations and finds that they are in general ,~eeorcl~nee ~d. th
similar rules and regulations which have previously been ap-
proved by this Department.
~'~e public s~mita~' sewers in Nantucket do not cover
the entire town and the Department reoom, u, ends that the word
"sanitary~ be inserted before the word ~sewer" in the second
line and that the words #public sanitary~ be inserted before
the word ~sewer~ in the fourth line of this section, so that

in these rules and regulations as oooaalon may require With
this proviso and with the above recommendation the proposod
