E. Discussion
1. FAA Status Notice of Construction Alteration for wind turbines presented
by Anne
Action
Ann suggested we would be well served to conduct an Energy Research
Audit of the proposed facilities by National Grid . Whitey said it looked
like a SWAG idea to him. Anne made the motion we do this audit. It
was seconded by Carl. The motion passed.
VII. Other business by Committee Members
A. Carl proposed we send a letter to the Town Manager regarding The
Commonwealth Solar Plan and review how we could use the rebate venue.
He suggested we could we speak with the manager of the Enterprise Fund.
The project does involve a vender and for that reason and the current
financial problems of The Town it was decided it was probably not a
timely appeal at this time.
B. Barbara was concerned about the “ THINGS TO DO LIST ” at the end
of the minutes. Her feeling was it gave a negative perception to our efforts.
To title it “ The Parking Lot “ (of Ideas) was suggested as a means of
itemizing plans , ideas, and areas that were on the back burner … or we
could just state “MEMO” so we did not forget areas we wish to
consider later.
No Action was taken at this time.
