2018 ANNUAL T O W N MEETING 2018
The following is a summary of the articles called and discussed,and the vote taken by
the 2018 Annual Town Meeting held at the Nantucket High School,Mary P.Walker
Auditorium,10 Surfside Road,on April 3,2018.Cyrus Peirce student Bobby Planzer was
the official Time Keeper.
Tuesday,April 3,2018 –Meeting called to order at 6:06 PM.Out of 8913 registered
voters,there were 487 voters present at the start of the meeting.Ultimately,630
registered voters were i n attendance.
Voters were given red armbands,and consultants were given green check armbands.
Non-voters were admitted to the Auditorium anteroom,and the proceedings were
graciously live-streamed by Channel 18.

On April 3, 2018, at 6:51 PM, the following “Pot of Uncalled Articles” was voted
unanimously in accordance with the motions recommended by the Finance Committee
or, in the absence of a Finance Committee motion, then in accordance with the motions
