Misurelli – Was present for the May 2nd training/licensing class. Felt it was too long and
the class should be simplified. It should also highlight the needs in the Nantucket
Harbor Watershed (NHW)
Champoux – Would it be possible to edit the video?
Carlson – Should keep the video as is. We can make a new class based on the
calibration training. General consensus has always been that the class is too high
level for what we are trying to accomplish.
Collette – It didn’t seem to emphasize what is needed.
Collier – Can we cut down the video to 2 hrs? That will work better.
Champoux – It would still be too high level
Collette – A more hands on class is what’s needed.
Champoux – the calibration class is getting down to brass tacks. It works very well.
Collette – Would it be possible to get BMP knowledge out there in the class, rather
than the high end stuff that is taught now?
Champoux – we might be able to do something better ourselves.
Collier – we should keep what we have, and develop something for next year.
Saperstien – Online testing is a good tool that should be looked in to.
McClure – There are many examples of online technologies that can be used.
Santamaría – will look into developing an education outline.
VI. WEBSITE
Santamaría – Gave overview of webpage and basic ideas for the future
Carlson – Will be adding things to the page as well.
Santamaría – Things will be more fluid going forward.
