Surfside staff does not have the resources at this time to gather the data. Finalized capacity assessment memo. This Month: Provide capacity assessment memo with findings and recommendations for Town to review Schedule Projected completion date – March 2014. Financial Budget - $20,000 Spent: $ 18,586 Town Action (s) Required: Meet with Town to discuss further jetties support 224428 Miacomet Pond Watershed Study Progress Last Month: Prepared draft watershed delineation plan Prepared draft land use plan Prepared draft soils map Began analysis of land use changes between current and 1990’s Conducted field visit Visited island to interview stakeholders including Richard Ray and Dave Fronzuto, meet with Planning and review Planning Board’s documents, and conduct additional verification of locations within watershed. Original meetings were canceled in January and February due to winter storm. This Month: Compile information obtained for Planning Department Finalize watershed delineation Conduct interview with owner on Allen Lane Complete analysis of land use changes Schedule Projected completion date – May 2014. Date extended due to weather impacting field investigations and to ensure time to meet with stakeholders. Financial Engineering Budget - $125,800 Spent - $19,839 Town Action (s) Required: None at this time Town of Nantucket, Massachusetts Project Update March 12, 2014 WOODARD & CURRAN 4 of 5 225140 Phase IIB Sewer and Water Main Rehabilitation Project Progress Last Month: Project outreach performed to communicate to business and residents regarding upcoming Broad Street construction. Dewatering effort began on Broad Street, and traffic was diverted through truck lane during construction between Easy Street and South Water Street. Water construction was completed on lower Broad Street up to South Beach Street. This Month: Sewer construction will begin on Broad Street at intersection with South Beach Street, and move toward North Water Street. Construction will include replacement of sewer, storm, and water infrastructure. Roadway shutdowns will be required. Residents and businesses advised to seek alternate routes. Schedule Projected completion date – October 2014 Financial Engineering Budget - $1,070,720 Spent - $726,260 Construction Bid - $3,504,911 (including change orders executed), Spent - $3,372,327 Town Action (s) Required: Work with Woodard & Curran to coordinate with local businesses and residents during construction Provide support as needed in field for utility identification 225839 Surfside WWTF Assessment and Upgrades Progress Last Month: Prepared cost estimate for installation of screening. This Month Provide memo on screenings assessment for Town review. Develop plan for additional operational assistance to pilot running the plant with one train of the advanced treatment system off-line.
