Financial Budget - $20,000 Spent: $ 18,630 Town Action (s) Required: None 224428 Miacomet Pond Watershed Study Town of Nantucket, Massachusetts Project Update January 6, 2014 WOODARD & CURRAN 3 of 4 Progress Last Month: Kick off meeting with Town Site Visit to watershed Continued data collection and compilation This Month: Watershed delineation Additional data collection and compilation, including input from Planning Board Visit to island to review Planning Board’s documents, interview stakeholders, and conduct additional verification of locations within watershed Schedule Projected completion date – March 21, 2014 Financial Engineering Budget - $125,800 Spent - $7,752 Town Action (s) Required: Provide Woodard & Curran copies of relevant documents 225140 Phase IIB Sewer and Water Main Rehabilitation Project Progress Last Month: Sewer main and water main construction completed on Fair Street. Few water service laterals remain to be replaced on Fair. Water construction completed on Westminster. Cobble work completed on Academy Lane. Project site cleaned in preparation for the Christmas holiday at the end of the month. Contractor shutdown from December 20, 2013 to January 6, 2014 Project outreach performed to communicate to business and residents regarding upcoming Broad Street construction. This Month: Dewatering to begin on Broad Street. Construction will begin at intersection with South Beach Street, and move toward North Water Street. Construction will include replacement of sewer, storm, and water infrastructure. Roadway shutdowns will be required. Residents and businesses advised to seek alternate routes. Schedule Projected completion date – October 2014 Financial Engineering Budget - $1,070,720 Spent - $722,130 Construction Bid - $3,504,911 (including change orders executed to date), Spent - $2,372,327 Town of Nantucket, Massachusetts Project Update January 6, 2014 WOODARD & CURRAN 4 of 4 Town Action (s) Required: Work with Woodard & Curran to coordinate with local businesses and residents during construction Provide support as needed in field for utility identification 225839 Surfside WWTF Assessment and Upgrades Progress Last Month: Revised screenings assessment to develop conceptual layout and cost for complete headworks replacement. Provided Corrosion Control Study Report for comment Evaluated incorporating vactor dump station into headworks This Month Provide memo on screenings assessment for Town review. Develop plan for additional operational assistance to pilot running the plant with one train of the advanced treatment system off-line.
