Hi Erika,
While I understand the reasoning behind the Baxter Road closures while work
goes on, and don't dispute that there are some foolish people who might need to be
protected from their own curiosity, it is a matter of general interest to taxpayers. I'm
writing to suggest that the selectmen might require SBPF to put up a Sconset Bluff
Webcam as part of their license agreement. This would increase the transparency of
the project, enable people to see exactly how it works, and increase the likelihood
that orders of conditions issued by the Conservation Commission are followed
appropriately. Could you present this suggestion to the board?
