I know you can guess at my distress, from the many meetings I was able to attend, on the
route to this Big Dig that seems a victory not for Nantucket, but for the power of money toget its way, whatever the consequences. Please reconsider your support for anything tied to
the SBPF: no matter how they spin it, the money they provide gives them the power to asserttheir will, even though against the long term interests of the island, and doesn't, in the end,
serve us well; in fact, in the end we will pay the price of their narrow focus. Thanks forlistening.
