Erika and Andrew, Attached for your review and for filing with the Nantucket County
Commissioners with respect to the continued Baxter Road Alternative Access Taking
hearing on December 4, 2013 are two (2) sets of plans which show “Easement B” as
constructed. The first set of plans show an access road with a turning circle that has a
radius of 200’ from the centerline. This is the minimum radius required for “minor” streets
pursuant to the Nantucket Planning Board’s design standards for streets as set forth in
Section 4.03e of its rules and regulations. The second set of plans shows an access road
with a turning circle that has a radius of 300’ from the centerline. This is the minimum
radius required for “secondary” streets by the Planning Board’s same design standards.
