The SconsetBluff is in a high energy wave environment and hard-armoring this beach in the long term will causeerosion in Codfish Park and other adjacent beaches. As a result, our beaches will stop growing. Our beach at the moment is nourishing itself from a very hard winter of storms and strong winds. It ishard enough to deal with the hand of mother nature, now to be faced with the possibility of man madeerosion. We live on Bank Street, the last street of Codfish Park and in front of our house is Front Street. Theonly thing protecting the historic village of Sconset is Codfish Park as we are the first string. If the 26'rock wall and the 4,200 ft long revetment is constructed throughout the years, the historic village willbe effected by erosion.Sincerely,Janet Morell27 Bank St.Siasconset, Ma. 02564
