Via large screens and speakers on the Our Island Home patio, it looks and sounds as if we are at the concert in person! This event is not to be missed- light refreshments, blankets and chairs provided! Profile: Ronni Rogers Business Office Coordinator We are so thrilled to have Ronni Rogers join the OIH team as our new Business Office Coordinator! Ronni got married on Nantucket in 2006, and ever since then dreamed of living here full time. When her husband accepted a job as the Deputy Director of the DPW, they were able to move here in December 2018. Previously, Ronni worked for insurance companies for over 20 years, most recently aiding clients with health and life insurance, as well as pension benefits. Ronni is enjoying working in a residential setting: “when I start my day, I am so happy to see the residents and say ‘good morning.’ I am coming to their home to work, and do not lose sight of that. What I like best is knowing that I work amongst angels- caregivers who work tirelessly to assist and care for our residents.” Resident Portraiture Local Nantucket photographer Barbara Clarke is offering her portraiture services free of charge to OIH residents. If you would like to schedule group or individual portraits for your friend or family residing at OIH, please contact Taylor Hilst at thilst@nantucket-ma.gov to schedule an appointment.
