Minutes of the Meeting of 27 October 2010. The meeting took place at 37 Prospect Street,
Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Board present were Brian Chadwick, Patricia Roggeveen,
and Whiting Willauer. Rick Atherton and Michael Kopko were absent. Chairman Roggeveen called
the meeting to order at 2:57 PM.
At 2:57 PM Mr. Chadwick moved to recess the meeting of the Board of Selectmen in order to
convene a meeting of the County Commissioners, and to reconvene the Board of Selectmen at the
Town Building Conference Room, 16 Broad Street after the County Commission meeting; Mr.
Willauer seconded. All in favor, so voted.
At 3:21 PM, Chairman Roggeveen reconvened the Board of Selectmen at the Town Building
Conference Room, 16 Broad Street. All members were present.
At 3:21 PM Mr. Chadwick moved to adjourn to executive session for the purpose of a collective
bargaining grievance regarding the Our Island Home/SEIU union, not return to open session; Mr.
Atherton seconded. So voted, all in favor by roll call vote.
Approved the 3rd day of November, 2010.
