BOARD OF SELECTMEN
Minutes of the meeting of 6 April 2009 at 10:00 AM. The meeting took place in the Conference
Room, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Board present were Rick Atherton,
Brian Chadwick, Michael Kopko, Allen Reinhard, and Patty Roggeveen. Chairman Kopko called
the meeting to order at 10:03 AM.
Town Manager C. Elizabeth Gibson said the Board consensus at an executive session meeting on
Friday, 3 April 2009 was to approve Memorandum of Agreements with police unions Local 330 and
Local 330a, noting that she has the agreements in hand for execution. She said there are related
Annual Town Meeting warrant articles that are ready to go as soon as the Board executes the
agreements. After some discussion, Mr. Chadwick moved to ratify the Memorandum of
Agreements between the Town and police unions Local 330 and Local 330a; Mr. Reinhard
seconded. All in favor, so voted.
Some discussion occurred regarding the Annual Town Meeting which starts tonight.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 11:17 AM.
