BOARD OF SELECTMEN
Minutes of the meeting of 30 November 2009 at 9:00 AM. The meeting took place in the
Conference Room, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Board present were
Rick Atherton, Brian Chadwick, Michael Kopko, and Allen Reinhard. Patty Roggeveen was absent.
Chairman Kopko called the meeting to order at 9:06 AM in open session.
Mr. Reinhard moved to adjourn to executive session for the purpose of discussing litigation then to
return to open session; Mr. Atherton seconded. So voted unanimously by roll call vote.
The Board went back into open session at 9:44 AM, following a meeting in executive session.
Mr. Atherton requested the Board ratify the vote taken at today’s executive session at its 2
December 2009 meeting to accept an offer proposed by Servant Healthcare Investments and
Sovereign Bank regarding the payment of sewer privilege fees for the Sherburne Commons facility
owed to the Town in the amount of $145,409.45. The Board was in consensus to do so.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 9:47 AM.
