Minutes of the Meeting of 2 October 2008 at 9:00 AM. The meeting took place in the Town Building
Conference Room, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Board present were
Michael Kopko, Brian Chadwick, Patricia Roggeveen, and Allen Reinhard. Chairman Kopko called
the meeting to order at 9:05 AM. Rick Atherton arrived at 9:10 AM.
Discussion Regarding Revisions to Taxi Regulations. Discussion ensued about the current Taxi
Regulations and the need to “tighten up” the taxi license transfer language. It was suggested a
hearing in this regard be scheduled for November and agreement that a general discussion on the
matter be scheduled for the Board’s October 8, 2008 regularly scheduled meeting. Board members
also asked about the status of taxi meters.
At 9:15 AM, Chairman Kopko polled the Board and Mr. Reinhard, Mr. Chadwick, Ms. Roggeveen,
Mr. Atherton and Chairman Kopko voted unanimously to adjourn to Executive Session, not to
return to Open Session, for the purpose of approving minutes, discussing real estate disposition
and litigation.
Approved the 15th day of October, 2008.
