Minutes of the Meeting of 13 November 2007 at 9:00 AM. The meeting took place in the Land Bank
Conference Room, 22 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Board present were
Brian Chadwick, Patricia Roggeveen, Whiting Willauer, Allen Reinhard and Michael Kopko.
Chairman Willauer called the meeting to order at 9:05 AM.
WORKSHOP MEETING
Review and Discussion of Potential 2008 Annual Town Meeting Warrant Articles. The Board
discussed potential articles it may sponsor on the 2008 Annual Town Meeting Warrant. The Board
agreed to pursue increasing fees for rental vehicles, and to continue to look at other sources of
revenue that would require action at Town Meeting. The Board asked for more information on
costs associated with accepting provisions of Chapter 77 Acts of 2005, which provides for
offsetting any loss of salary that may occur when an employee is called to active military duty. The
Board also requested more information on funding a Housing Specialist from Community
Preservation funds.
Review and Discussion of Potential Options for Development of Property at 2 Candle Street. The
Board discussed potential uses and development options at the former electric company property
at 2 Candle Street.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 11:50 AM.
