Minutes of the Meeting of 14 August 2007 at 2:30 PM. The meeting took place in the Land Bank
Conference Room, 22 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Board present were
Brian Chadwick, Allen Reinhard, Patricia Roggeveen, Michael Kopko and Whiting Willauer. Also
present was Town Manager C. Elizabeth Gibson. Chairman Willauer called the meeting to order at
2:35 PM.
Chairman Willauer noted that the Board’s 2007 goals and objectives are scheduled to be ratified at
the meeting of August 15, 2007 and suggested that the Board consider adding a coordinated
energy policy for the island, and development of a road surfacing policy for public and private
roads. Some discussion followed.
Chairman Willauer asked that Board members consult him in advance with regard to potential
agenda items.
At 3:00 PM, Chairman Willauer polled the Board and Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Kopko, Ms. Roggeveen,
Mr. Reinhard and Chairman Willauer voted to adjourn to Executive Session, not to return to Open
Session, for the purpose of discussing real estate matters and non-union contract negotiations.
