Libby,
I won’t be able to attend Wednesdays meeting about Wyer’s Valley. Bonnie, our daughter,
is having our first granddaughter on Tuesday. Anyway, I had a meeting with Bob Gardner expressing
my concerns about the aquifer. Maybe in our lifetime it won’t be a problem but in 50 to 100 years
who can positively say the oil, gas, etc. run-off from the parking lot won’t start to mix with the
aquifer and contaminate it. As you know once our water supply is contaminated you cannot bring it
back. Maybe we need a new hospital but not on that location. What happened to the original plan
of having it in the same location?
