Meeting Minutes for November 9, 2011
Meeting called to order by the chairman at 10:06am EST.
Location: Training Room – PSF - 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket MA
In Attendance: David Sharpe, Lisa Bouchard, John O’Connor, David Larivee, Sue Marques and
Lynne Robinson.
Absent: Angus MacVicar
Approval of Agenda: Agenda approved as written
Approval of minutes: Minutes from approved as written.
Topics:
1) Open discussion on Committee Members reports about State of the Taxi Industry
A short discussion was had about the Annual Report that Chairman Sharpe had presented. The
committee made suggestions and all agreed to review the draft at the December meeting.
Roundtable Discussion:
A) Committee Members:
John O’Connor mentioned that there will be a mid-island shopping shuttle run by the Nantucket
Chamber of Commerce and A-1 taxi during Christmas Stroll weekend. A short discussion ensued
about it but there was no action to be taken.
B) Public Comment:
None at this time
Next Meeting: December 21, 2011 at 10:00am EST in the Training Room at the Public Safety
Facility at 4 Fairgrounds Road.
Adjourn: Meeting adjourned @ 11:35am on a motion by John O’Connor with all in favor.
