Meeting Minutes for April, 2011
Meeting called to order by the chair on April 12, 2011 at 10:00 am EST.
Location: 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket MA
In Attendance: David Sharpe, Lisa Bouchard, John O’Connor, & Angus Macvicar.
Absent: David Larivee
Approval of Agenda: Agenda approved as written
Approval of minutes: Minutes from approved as written.
Topics:
1) Update on Committee openings.
Committee welcomed and thanked Lisa Bouchard joining the group as a taxi community
member. Committee then discussed where they should suggest the 2 open seats be filled by.
The majority agreed there should be a member from the night clubs be it an owner, or worker
and such.
Committee will draft a letter to send to persons and groups of interest to get interested
candidates. Chairman will contact Town Manager to see how we can advertise via local TV or
news paper.
Motion by Lt. Macvicar
Second by John O’Connor
Unanimous vote
Lt. Macvicar left to make copies of regulations for group.
Conversations were had but nothing pertaining to committee business.
2) Begin review of currant Taxi Regulations.
Beginning page 4 section B through page 7 240‐3 Accepted as written and table the continuance
of the review during the next meeting.
