Action Items/Old Business:
• Review of BOS report: new items and requests from BOS (see supplementary
document). Review of next steps document presented in April 2010.
• Continue/Review Prioritization:
o Emphasis on action item 36: Water Quality Management Plan; how should
it be funded; who should write it; what sources are out there for funding
and for expert advice. What avenues would best help Town of Nantucket
accomplish this?
o 39 tasks completed; review those not completed; do some need to be
bumped up?
Shellfish Management Plan Update
BOS Liaison report:
New Business: Oil Spill control and public education + relevant action items
Future Meetings: Thursday: June 24th at 5:00 pm (Guest speaker, Emily MacKinnon,
Nantucket Land Council, eel grass restoration project)
