We received a report at our meeting of August 21, 2010 regarding a
questionnaire currently being distributed on behalf of the Planning Board.
As we understand, the questionnaire is going to households in areas
surrounding the Core District, whether owned by year-round families or
summer residents.
Our members have asked that I express on their behalf our appreciation to
the Town and the Planning Board for taking account of summer residents’
views in the survey. On the merits of the issue (zoning setbacks), we take no
position.
