Sewer Planning Work Group
November 8, 2013 – 10:00 A.M.

MINUTES
Attending: Matt Fee, Michael Glowacki, Dual McIntyre, Tim Soverino, Charlie Stott, Robert
Williams, Nancy Wheatley, DPW Director Buzanoski, Planning Director Vorce, Heath Inspector
Ray.
1) Call to order, 10:00 a.m.
Chair Wheatley called meeting to order at 10:10 when a quorum had assembled.
2) Review minutes from July 12, August 16, and September 16.2013 meeting.
Approved by unanimous consent.
3) Check list for additions to sewer districts
Lengthy Discussion on the checklist as it had been used for special town meeting. The group
found general agreement on suggestions for improvement and for the need to include a
preamble/ policy statement to provide context. DPW Director will provide a revised draft for
a future meeting.
4) Memo from Helen Gordon
Time ran short for in depth discussion on the memo. See 5 below. Some members expressed
concern about the lack of specificity in the responses to questions posed to Woodard &
Curran and their perception of the nature of the relationship between them and the SPWG.
5) Next Meeting
Next Meet December 20, 10:00 a.m. with Woodard&Curran
• Review and advise on checklist criteria for adding properties.
• Compile technical questions and policy questions on community values.
