Sewer Planning Work Group
September 16, 2013 – 10:00 A.M.

MINUTES
Attending: Steve Anderson, Matt Fee, Michael Glowacki, Dual McIntyre, Tim Soverino,
Charlie Stott, Robert Williams, Nancy Wheatley, DPW Director Buzanoski, Planning Director
Vorce.
1) Call to order, 10:00 a.m.
Chair Wheatley called meeting to order at 10:00 when a quorum had assembled.
2) Review minutes from July 12, and August 16, 2013 meeting.
Deferred to next meeting.
3) Adopt Draft Work Plan
MG: Move adoption, seconded.
Lengthy Discussion on priorities and role of consultants ensued.
• Frustration w lack of information on regulatory drivers and capacity issues.
• Consultant role is to develop updated CWMP in conformance with Mass.
Estuaries Project.
• Work Group Mission is to make recommendations on building public support for
the updated CWMP.
• Discussion revolved around whether or not the Mass. Estuaries Project is fully
and accurately representative of community values as expressed by town meeting
actions.
Motion adopted by unanimous vote
4) Next Meeting
Next Meet October 18, 10:00 a.m.
• Review and advise on checklist criteria for adding properties.
• Begin to Compile technical questions and community values questions – please
submit suggestions to chair in advance.
