Topic: Dylan talked to Erica & Libby info distribution (using a blog, Facebook)
- Town is putting together social media guidelines
- This topic is on hold until we hear back from the town
- We can continue to add to our website with the town
Topic: Amy’s meeting with the Land Bank re: Community Gardens
- Options
o Hindsdale Park (on Old South just before Home Emporium, near Valero
grazing and playing field) – has town water
o Property across from Cumberland Farm near the shed
o Space off of Bacus Lane behind the Muse
- Land Banks wants to know who will be paying for/dealing with the property
- We should visit each site and report back our thoughts
- Management ideas
o Bylaws
o Help for a few hours
o Organic or not
o Rules re: animals, bees, alcohol
o Check out www.communitygarden.org
o Check out www.gardeningmatters.org
o Consider working with a non-profit – Sustainable Nantucket
